Day Three: Free Healthcare at Malindi Orphans Academy

On the third day of our medical camp, the Omeriye Foundation team set up at the Malindi Orphans Academy to provide healthcare to the children there. 

We were warmly welcomed by the school staff and students.

The Malindi Orphans Academy is an institution that provides education and learning environments for orphans and underprivileged children in Malindi. 

The academy was established in 2008 by the Malindi Islamic Center for Orphans, with the aim of helping less fortunate children in the area. Today, the academy has 277 pupils, both boys and girls.

Our medical team was able to examine and treat the children for various ailments, providing them with much-needed healthcare. 

The children were treated with care and love, and many were overjoyed to receive the medical attention they needed.

At the end of the day, the kids were also given candy and clothes donated by the Belgian doctors who had come to Kenya with our partners, Time to Help Belgium.

It was heartwarming to see the smiles on their faces as they received these gifts, and we were grateful to have been able to make a difference in their lives.
