📦 Distribution & Forms of Aid
All logistics and packaging took place at our Baba Dogo warehouse in Nairobi, where staff and volunteers packed and dispatched aid throughout the country.
We distributed aid in three main forms:
- 11kg Household Hunger Relief Packages – Delivered to rural homes, widows, and informal settlements.
- 457kg Institutional Bulk Packages – Sent to orphanages, boarding schools, madrasas, special schools, and universities.
- Hot Iftar Meals – Organized at five major universities to support students during Ramadan.
who did we target this year?
Rural Communities
We served vulnerable households in Kisii, Nyamira, Bomet, Marsabit, Laikipia, Nandi, and Eldoret, with a special focus on widows, orphans, and food-insecure schools.
Notably:
- Marsabit County: One of Kenya’s most food-insecure regions.
- Laikipia North: Served in partnership with the area MP.
- Western Kenya: Schools and orphanages in Busia and Kakamega counties benefited from bulk packages.
Orphaned Children
Kenya is home to approximately 3.6 million orphans and vulnerable children. We supported 40+ orphanages across Mombasa, Nairobi, Kilifi, and Eldoret.
Disabled Communities & Special Schools
With only a fraction of Kenya’s 2.5 million children with disabilities accessing education, our focus on this underserved group was essential.
We supported 23 special schools, with orphanage packages.
