Omeriye Foundation's Muslim Cerebral Palsy Unit Construction Project

In February 2026, the Muslim Comprehensive School Cerebral Palsy Units  was launched officially in Starehe Constituency, Nairobi. it is an extensive Building for the children who for the longest time lacked the facility for their daily use and also for their rehabilitations activities .The School has 800 students with the special needs wing having 50 learners.

Working in collaboration with our partners from  Time to Help Nederlands, Students,Teacher and Parents of Metis Montessori Lyceum School.

We were delighted to be accampanied by the Nairobi County Women Representative Hon. Ester Passaris and the Principle Secretary for Science, Research and Innovation

We initiated a donation campaign and raised funds to construct a full special school, for disabled children in the school and surrounding area

At the special school, students will be able to gain useful education that will equip them with the skills necessary to make a living in the future.

The Muslim Comprehensive Cerebral palsy unit in the School will be a safe space for children with special needs who often don't get the specialized care that they need for both in the School and the sorrounding.

The new structure is a sturdy building with four large classrooms washroom and a dormitory for the students.

At Omeriye, we believe that inability is not disability. With proper support, these kids can shine and excel in different areas.
