Omeriye Foundation's Mtopanga Special School Construction Project

In May 2024, the Mtopanga Special School was launched officially in Kisauni, Mombasa. it is an extension of the main Mtopanga Primary school which has 1,800 students.

Working in collaboration with our partners from Embrace Relief, Time to Help UK, Time to Help Netherlands, 

We initiated a donation campaign and raised funds to construct a full special school, for disabled children in the school and surrounding area

At the special school, students will be able to gain useful education that will equip them with the skills necessary to make a living in the future.

The Mtopanga Special School will be a safe space for children with special needs who often don't get the specialized care that they need. 

The new structure is a sturdy building with four large classrooms and a staff room 

At Omeriye, we believe that inability is not disability. With proper support, these kids can shine and excel in different areas.
