Act of Hope Orphanage Renovation Project By Our Charitable Organization

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the tremendous support that our donors and partners from  the Time to Help Nederlands Charitable Organization have shown us in improving the lives of the children at the Act of Hope Orphanage in Kabiria area, Nairobi. 

Your unwavering generosity enabled us to make a real difference in the living conditions of these children, providing them with a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment that they can now call home.

When we visited the orphanage in February 2023, we were deeply saddened by the dire conditions in which the more than 30 boys and girls were living. 

The children had to sleep in cramped, dilapidated "mabati" shacks with insufficient beds, and a leaking roof that would flood their sleeping area during the rainy seasons. 

We also learned that the children would sometimes go without food and lacked a proper space to study and do their homework after school.

With support from you, and our parners from Time to help Nederlands,  we were able to build a new stone structure that houses two classrooms, two large sleeping rooms for the boys and girls, complete with new beds, mattresses, and bedding. 

We also provided the children with stationery to aid their studies and painted the walls with vibrant colors and drawings that helped to create an atmosphere of warmth, safety, and happiness.

The joy and gratitude we witnessed during the opening ceremony were truly heartwarming. The children danced and laughed, knowing that they now have a place to call home. We were humbled to witness the incredible impact that we were able to make together towards a common goal.

Your contributions have provided these children with more than just a building, but with a renewed sense of hope and a brighter future. Together, we have created a legacy that will be remembered for generations to come.
